Alexandra Box (b. 1997) is an art administrator and transdisciplinary artist who serves on the Board at Forest City Gallery, artist-run centre. Alexandra has completed several residencies, including Medalta Potteries, (Treaty 7) in Medicine Hat, Alberta and on Salt Spring Island (Salish Sea) with Salt Spring Arts Council & Point Gallery.
Alexandra’s writing has been published by Hearth Gallery, Painwise Press, Peripheral Review, and The Capilano Review. She also maintains a practice in image description/alternative-text writing and is engaged in various accessibility projects. Alexandra began her art education at Bealart and holds a BFA (2020) in visual art and curatorial practices from Emily Carr University and an MA (2024) in Art History from the University of Toronto.
