Alexandra Box (b. 1997) is an arts professional and transdisciplinary artist based in Toronto, Ontario. Since 2022, she has served on the Board of Directors at Forest City Gallery, artist-run centre in London, Ontario.
She works freelance as a researcher, programmer, administrator, and educator in the GLAM sector. Currently, she is completing a Curatorial Residency at the Gardiner Museum. Alexandra has completed several studio residencies, including Medalta, (Treaty 7) in Medicine Hat, Alberta and on Salt Spring Island (Salish Sea) with Salt Spring Arts Council & Point Gallery.
Alexandra’s writing has been published by Hearth Gallery, Painwise Press, Peripheral Review, and The Capilano Review. She maintains a practice in alternative-text writing and is engaged in numerous accessibility projects.
Alexandra began her art education at Bealart. She holds a BFA (2020) in visual art and curatorial practices from Emily Carr University and an MA (2024) in Art History from the University of Toronto. Her cv is available by request through the “conact” button.
